This is great pizza journalism, Dan! Clearly the people want to know what's going on when the community loses something so delicious. Looking forward to Massimo's next adventure so I can finally taste some of that amazing looking 'za!
My intro to Etna Slice House came from a combo of Instagram recommendations from Eddie412 and I think I joined your list at the time and your 2025 Pitt Pizza outlook mentioned them. Tried slices one day for lunch, and just got my first full pie last week. It was spectacular, and devastating that they’ll need to close. Similar experience I watched with Andrew Bellucci (R.I.P) a few years ago while living in Queens. Creative and business disputes can inevitably fracture a great thing.
Great pizza makers will always find a way, and I look forward to following where Massimo lands next.
This is a great article and a sad day for pizza! I can't wait to see what Massimo does next. I'll happily support great pizza made by great people.

May the grease of the pizza guide us.
