Tiny Pizza Updates This Week
Look I've been sick all week and there's not a ton of pizza news happening around town.
Hark, Pizza Fans! What’s that sound I hear? Is it the sounds of birds chirping in the morning, the sun staying up a tiny bit longer…my, I do believe that we are on the verge of spring.
Spring to me is going to be a pizza rebirth. I’m going to eat pizza outside, on sidewalks, in parks. I have a two year old who is a pizza eating machine. You put pizza in front of her and you aren’t leaving that table until all pizza on the premises has been devoured. It’s revolting. She’s 30 pounds and will eat 10% of her weight in pizza in one sitting. Who does that?
Anyways, I don’t have a ton of things to talk about this week, yet the pizza world still turns.
A New Pizza Cottage Industry Enters the Scene
You’re going to want to follow Black Cat Pizza on Instagram. I’m lining up an interview with this mysterious pizza maker, but they look to be churning out some tasty Sicilian pizzas in the Millvale area. You order pizza on Wednesday and it’s delivered the following weekend.
I wasn’t fast enough to get any this weekend (literally sold out in minutes??), but the pizza looks divine. Look at these secure and stable pockets of air! You could build a coliseum on this pizza.
As someone who has made a ton of pizza in my home, it’s amazing how unnecessary a full pizza kitchen is. With the right ingredients and expertise you can bake pizza that goes toe-to-toe with any pizzeria.
Check out Black Cat Pizza and when it’s time to order next time please let me know ahead of time.
Spak Bros. Get’s a Glow Up
New bricks at Spak Bros. Looking dope as always. Now that’s a facade that makes me want to order a whole pizza!
All things considered that’s a pretty good pizza update. I did have Alta Via Pizzeria last week so look forward to a review of that in the near future. I hear they’re expanding their hours next week.
Okay, I’ll pizza ya later!
